A Product Launch Is A Lot Of Work. Whew!

Thursday, February 5th, 2009

Don’t ever let anyone tell you a launch is not a heck of a lot of work. Whew! So many little things to take care of. And big ones too of course.

Anyway, I promised to provide the answers to most JVs frequently asked questions. I’m going one better.

Here are the answers to every question I’ve received so far.

1. Are there only 125 places available so will the most that we’ll be able to earn in commission will be 48.5×125?

It’s 125 places per group. Each group has their own content etc. So we can have as many groups as needed up to a point. I think we can handle just about as many sales as you can throw at us.

I don’t go into that detail on the site because since every group is entirely different it should not be an issue and it doesn’t hurt playing the scarcity card.

2. Are you keeping track of the affiliate cookies during the pre-launch or just at the initial launch? Meaning when I send traffic there through my link will the cookies stick throughout the launch or just during pre-launch?

Cookies are set for 60 days so unless your subscriber deletes them or visits thru a different affiliate after you, they will be cookied with your affiliate ID.

I’m working on a script to automatically add your Clickbank ID into the links to the site in the autoresponder series they are subscribing to instead of using naked links which relie on your original cookie. This would reset the cookie for another 60 days each time an autoresponder or broadcast message goes to them. However, it isn’t working yet.

I’m sure we have some JV partners who have solved this. How about a little help on this guys.

3. As an affiliate can I see what it is I’m promoting? It sounds good.

Yes, the end product for members are the 10 websites we provide each month. You can see samples of these on the sales page at http://privatenicheempire.com/salespage.php

4. I would like to have access to your product to write a real review.

I thought about this long and hard and while I hate not being able to grant this request when you think about it we’ve got well over a hundred JV Partners already signed up and if we provide access the exclusivity of at least one entire group is gone. And that’s something that we promised our members we would guard jealously.

Perhaps I’ll provide a video of the interior of the members site if I can find the time before the launch on Feb. 10th.

5. I want to promote using your sales page.  Can I take your sales page and change towards my keywords for your launch?  I want to get your permission before I would do that.  Then I can send them straight to clickbank if that’s OK with you.

I don’t think I have any objections. I’d like to see the page though. You need to use the robots noindex nofollow tag so that I don’t get duplicate content issues if you are using a lot off the sales page.

6. Are these sites blogs or static websites?

Static websites. You can easily add a blog to them since we have matching themes.

7. Is hosting included or do we upload to our own servers?

You upload to your own.

8. Is the website or blog fully loaded with all content, ready for upload?

Yes.

9. Do we have the ability to edit our sites or add more content, such as images & videos?

Yes. It’s very easy to add things. It’s a modular PHP and CSS design and we show you on videos.

10. Do we load our own adsense campaign/channel on to each site?

All you do is insert your Adsense ID into a configuration file. The same with your Clickbank and Amazon IDs.

11. Do we choose the affiliate product(s) we want to promote with each site or do you?

We do but you can easily change it and promote anything you want.

12. Do we receive the keyword research for each site monthly to use for more social marketing and building backlinks to the site?

Not currently but if we receive enough requests for it we will.

13. What backlinks are creating on your side or how do you assist us in getting top ranking for each micro niche?

Sites are thoroughly SEOed and have their own outgoing RSS feeds which ping the SEs.

14. What support is offered each month? membership forum, email questions, etc?

No forum. My personal belief is that most people waste too much time on them and it hurts their chances for success. With the outstanding email support we give, why take the chance on getting misinformation when you can communicate directly to the horse’s mouth. We also provide a telephone number that we actually answer most of the time, but email is more efficient.

15. I’d like to get this product for myself. If I can sign up now I’ll be able to promote it with a review. Is that possible.

You can go ahead and sign up thru the salespage if you want. Several affiliates have already done that.

16. I was trying to download your affiliate promotional banners at: http://privatenicheempire.com/images/banners.zip but could not get the site file loaded so I didn’t know if your server was down or having problems.

I just double-checked and it downloaded. Try again. If you continue to have problems just go to http://privatenicheempire.com/images/ and grab them one by one.

17. You seem to have a lot of great testimonials for a product that is just launching. How did you get these?

We started this idea almost 3 years ago with a product called Article Explosion on a very limited one group basis. It has done so well we are expanding.

You can read a more detailed explanation here: http://netinsiders.com/article-explosion-morphing-into-private-niche-empire/

If you have any other questions don’t hesitate to email or call.

Oh, and if you did not email today, please do so tonight or tomorrow. This first video is crucial in setting the stage for good conversions on launch day.

If you haven’t signed up as a partner (although I don’t know how you would have found this page otherwise but just in case) go to http://privatenicheempire.com/jvnotifypro

And if you already have you can get more info and your links at http://privatenicheempire.com/jvnotifypro/links.html

Would love to see your comments.

Warmest regards,
